A reliable fire suppression system is vital for the safety of your employees, customers and property. Wet chemical systems are mainly used in commercial kitchens and restaurants. Air Cleaning Technology specializes in the installation, maintenance and service of wet and dry chemical fire suppression systems. Our certified technicians are trained to service semi-annual Inspections and certification of kitchen fire suppression systems.
Service to be performed:
• Install a test cartridge in each system and discharge. Inspect all nozzles to verify proper discharge. Remove all nozzles and inspect for debris
• Inspect Tamper Seal
• Remove cartridge. Check for proper weight and manufacturer seal, note date
• Remove agent tank. Inspect for proper agent and note level
• Remove red glass break-rod and pull handle to test operation
• Verify piping is secure
• Remove and clean orifices on all appliance, duct, and plenum nozzles
• Verify all nozzles are current for proper coverage
• Verify detectors, cables, and conduit pipes are secured
• Test interlock; makeup air, gas/electrical shut down, alarm operation
• Replace fusible links
• Replace Blow-off Caps with metal Blow-off Caps as needed
• Reinstall agent tank, cartridge and cover
• Remove and install UV modules
• Repair any fire suppression system deficiencies
• Install certification tags showing date of inspection
