Welding Ventilation
Air Cleaning Technology offers a comprehensive range of high performance welding ventilation systems for your manufacturing equipment. Welding fumes are a complex mixture of fluorides, metallic oxides and silicates. Fumes are formed when a metal is heated beyond its boiling point and its vapors condense into very fine particles. The composition of welding fumes vary depending on material being welded.
During the welding process a variety of different gasses, fumes, and dust is released into the air and needs to be properly ventilated. Our products range from source capture arms, portable air cleaners to downdraft tables. Many processes produce gases that can be dangerous if ventilation is inadequate.
Our systems vary and can assist you with:
- OSHA strict air cleaning standards by reducing employees exposure to welding fumes and odor control.
- Improving housekeeping and reduces maintenance costs by collecting particulate before it settles on floors, walls, ceiling and equipment.
- Increase welding production efficiency with a cleaner air, safer, healthier work environment.
- Conserve energy by filtering out in plant emissions thus reducing general welding ventilation requirements.
Recommended Equipment
Non Combustible Material -
For non combustible material, we use cartridge style dust collector or cyclone mechanical separator. We have those as portable units, small ones that can be used for individual machines and large ones that can be used for central systems.
Also available for combating weld smoke and fumes, source capture arms and a variety of down draft tables.
